Our fourth annual Flop festival celebrates clown, mime, physical theater and original performances that make audiences laugh, guffaw, and even…feel. We bring audiences in San Francisco and the greater Bay area exciting theatrical works that showcase local and touring artists: you’ll see solo shows, ensemble work, and our signature Clown Cabarets from October 2-18, 2026.

For artists, Flop Fest is a place to play, connect, be inspired, and celebrate our wonderfully weird clown community. For audiences, it is a chance to see and experience the full range of Theater Clown from all over the world.Snort, giggle and roar with new and old friends, all while supporting a theater dedicated to the spirit and lineage of clown, mime and comedy.
