Mime, Mask, and Movement:
A Non-Verbal Narrative
with Jamin Jollo
Sat, May 16 - June 6
10 AM - 1 PM
Sculpt your ability to mesmerize an audience with the ultimate storytelling tool- your body.
In a four-week intensive exploration of movement for performers, Mime and Mask instructor Jamin Jollo guides students through classical mime technique and games to inspire and explore each student’s path of creation. Performance elements will focus on the juxtaposition of Spanish and French mime-clown practices with Swiss Mask technique to craft a mixture of high-energy physical narratives and compelling, precise, non-verbal stories.
The class will culminate in a showcase entwined with the Clown courses at Church of Clown. Wear comfortable movement clothes, close-toed shoes, and bring light snacks and a water vessel.
