Meet one Aussie bloke who can relate… He’s crass, chain-smokes, blows his paycheck on KFC and Marvel tatts and stumbles into knife fights. This is Big Mike - a wiry, heart-on-his-sleeve barista with big plans, good intentions and a magnetism for tragedy. 

Join Big Mike in a day of his life - learn about his hack to homeownership, and help him date again after his sexless longterm relationship ends (spoiler: it’s a disaster).

Absurd, funny, and oftentimes tragic, the show blends character comedy with elements of clowning, bouffon and drag.

About the Artist

Michele Owen (aka Big Mike) is an award-winning actor, writer and physical comedian whose shows have toured Australia and the United States. She is known for using physical expression and clowning to tell stories that are “both hilarious and somehow fraught with tension" (East Bay Express), and has been praised for her “excellent clowning skills” and “brilliant audience connection” (Stage Whispers, Australia). Her duo show Entertain Me! with Wendi Wynazz won a Sold Out Award at Fresno’s Rogue Festival. Instagram
