Welcome to Burlesque! Shimmy, bump, and step those heels into Jamin and Peggy’s world of clowns stripping away their noses, collars, oversized shoes, and so much more.  Like you’ve never seen before- a showcase of masterful minds and beautiful bodies celebrating the eccentric and the sensual, all wrapped up in a bite-sized evening of dance, games, buffoonery, and playful musicality.

About the Hosts

Jamin Jollo is a mime, director, Shakespearean actor, and instructor for stages and classrooms across the Bay. His original works use mask, mime, puppetry, and poetry honed into musical burlesque, silent stories, physical theatre plays, and video sketch comedy. A passionate educator, Jamin teaches courses and workshops in mime, mask, acting for the stage, and stage combat locally and abroad. Jamin has been seen in plays and Vaudeville acts at Church of Clown, The Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Marin Shakespeare Festival, Shotgun Players, The Curtain Theatre, 6th Street Playhouse, North Bay Cabaret, and The California. Look out for his upcoming Mime series and acting classes at Church of Clown this Fall!

Peggy is a clown, burlesque performer, and director based in the San Fransisco bay area. They got their start joining the drag scene in Santa Cruz, CA where she also directed Slugs in Fishnets: Rocky Horror Picture Show live shadow cast, as well as performed many of the roles. They started clowning at the Church of Clown in 2025 and have since created many solo acts and joined their trio, Two Truths and a Pie. More to come from Peggy!
